Prototype and vehicle production
JZ Engineering has access to a network of high technology specialists in the area of production, manufacturing and automotive technology. Together with its partner companies and JZ Engineering is also able to realise any development and design into hardware; there are almost no limits. From stereolithographic model expressing, more complex forms up to complete vehicle installation can be produced. The process of elements design, calculation and simulation, prototyping and testing are associated through digital networks, basically from first idea to practical implementation. Body in white frames and prototype vehicles are built and components or entire vehicles for testing assembled. In addition clients are offered vehicle tuning and modification for special series productions. Special equipment needed for the manufacture of certain parts, are designed and manufactured here. JZ Engineering also creates and prepares show cars or presentation vehicles.
Large CNC machines with up to six metres of stroke allow the processing of whole external vehicle surfaces. State of the art HSM machining centres allow the 5-axis machining of any geometry using advanced milling strategies.
Class-A surfaces can be generated with our modern painting system; a requirement for the painting of high class cubing models.
The required infrastructure with any production equipment and prototype assembly halls are available. A high-quality installation and implementation ensures the quality, assurance processes and quality equipment to the highest level of standards such as the Formula 1 precision.
Rapid prototyping is a method for the rapid production of sample components based on design data. CAD data will be provided and implemented directly in STL format
The realisation of stereolithographic parts, sintered and Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) parts, allow the implementation of complex products to be manufactured in a very short time. Injection moulded parts in small and pre-production batches are also possible.
Key benefits of prototyping:
- Installation and feasibility studies
- Mock up examination of technical implementation, packaging
- Visual impression of real dimensions
- Short-term feedback while conducting structure and form optimisation processes
- Possibility of functional test and verification
- Presentation purpose
- Ergonomic testing and verification by the user
